If u r really harassed,then law is there to protect you,in indianapolis itself there r many women organisations, u can aproch them.if his only goal is to get GC then u can inform INS too,if its still not processed.

I have been married for 5 years. I am a software engineer working for one of the companies in US. I came to US soon after my marriage. He joined me after an year and started abusing me both physically and emotionally since then. In the beginning I was so scared and don't know how to deal with this situation. Later I have realized that he married me just to come to US. He started asking me divorce since then. I am tired of this life and can't take it any more. I tried my level best to keep up my marrital life safe and secured but everything is going vein. I am close to get my Green Card (My husband will also be getting it since he is still my spouse legally)I can't tolerate somebody just walk away from my life once they reach their goal. I really need help. Please advise me.
