I got married in 1996 , only after 3 months my wife started misbehaving with me & my family . Though during that time my income was low , I tried my level best to satisfy her daily needs. It was like a beg borrow situation. I did not want to loose her.A year passed away , a daughter was born , she became more violent, every night was a horror to me. She started complaining about my Mother, Father. I kept on trying to convince her that they are my parents. I respect your parents the same way I do to my parents. Gradually issue was closed. Suddenly I came to know from my wife's father that she had previous relationships, her friends also confimred that same. I did not react at all.After somedays I caught her red handed with two guys in a very awkward situation. My heart broke . Since then I stopped all relationships with her. I used to sleep on achairt and she in the room. I tried several times , On several occassions sudenly she used to come out of her room at late night and start shouting " Why are you hitting me" Nearly would have committed suicide, but the thought of my father getting tortured, held me back. My father expired on July 23rd.2001 anymously. He was always very healthy. Suddenly he had a cerebral attack. Immediately after this when my father was in the Nursing Home, and my wife was away at her parental place ( ??), some unknown people attacked me and hit me badly - asked me if ever I open my mouth I would be killed. I went to the Police but invain. Several times I was beaten, threatened,but the police kept silent. The POLICE asked me 'CAN YOU PROVE THAT YOUR WIFE IS INVOLVED?'How can I? On several occassions I had found her with some people who were CRIMINAL RECORDS, but I cant prove this. Even sometimes I myself cant believe this.Even I went to the POlice headquarters a senior person asked for 1 lakh rupees, I could not hence he threatrened me to such extent that I had to leave my place and go OFF. On October 4th, she left home with my daughter which I came to know when I came back at 10PM after work. I immediately lodged a missing diary at thye thana. The whole night I was awake, thinking she will come back,I serached every possible place but incain. Later she file a case U/s 498A on 06.10.2001. Thank GOD I was not arrested as I surrendered , took a bail very next day. On 23rd when I was coming home I suddenly found her at my place. Immediately I left home. Till today I have been beaten , threatened but I have not got back to that home. Today I stay alone in fear, started to build my carrer once again,become more stronger,relegiously send Rs 5000/- every month because my mother & child is still there. I have seen her with differrent men every day involved into all sorts of criminal activities but I cant prove it. SOmetimes even my mother cant believe this. She keeps on spreading I have relation with plenty of women. I begged at the local police station- you investigate both, incase you find me guilty , i will do whatever you tell me.

Do I committ suicide ?? I cant live anymore. I cant take the beating anymore. Or Else I will become a criminal.

Can you please help me live my life?? Please help me

get some proofs of her harassment,even u can record her voice of insult and threat and approch court,now a days you can get divorce for many things, one of the SC judgement court gave divorce for man, for wife withhold sex without reason.

She needs real psychological help.
Believe or not you are not alone there are thousands of such people who keep torturing their family or spouses till end.

This usually occurs for severe deficiency of some metal or mineral or excess of same and also a history of traumatic experiences.

Unless she can release her past traumas and traumatic experiences, she will project her inability or incapacity to call attention by doing foolish things that can have no real logic.

Some such people can be cured but others can never be fixed. This becomes their true nature. They behave in this manner to receive sympathy, attention and praise as they enjoy reliving their traumas and tragedies.

You can be either a good listener and hear her stories often and try to give her some solid advice if not discuss it with a good psychologist or psychiatrist.

I simply want to know how long we all will be cribbling on this issue. Is there any action being taken to amend this law? What is the status as of now?
How can we men equip ourselves from criminal minded women?

It has been a bad experience for me @ the Udupi family court. When my case at the Bangalore court was first filed by me, my husband knew he could not win here, so very shrewedly he got me to withdraw my case and file a fresh petition at Udupi family court on grounds of territorial Jurisdiction, through a change of advocate by me. Even my new advocate never advised me that I could continue my case here @ Bangalore. Now, when my health is failing rapidly, and I am unable to travel I am not allowed to transfer my case back to Bangalore. I have been ill-advised by my advocate all along, which gives me enough proof that my advocate has connived and joined hands with my husband's advocate.
Why is it that I am always exposed to advocates who are not dedicated, honest in their profession, but are after only fast cash? Surely, my suspicions points to the fact that my advocate has been greased very well by my husband to keep his mouth shut, as he has never come with me for even a single hearing. Whom do I put in my grievances and like me can anyone ever have faith in the present judicial system which is showing us how corrupt it is?

This is a call for all humans to get united and stand up against a massive Feminazi conspiracy which is forcing the Indian Government towards implementation of very draconian laws biased against men. If implemented, the fundamental rights of men would be in full danger. The right to legal defense, the right to free speech and the right to liberty would be in serious danger. India is no United States where justice is delivered very fast. If you get into a false complaint of any kind of harassment to a female, then your life would be simply ruined as the case can go on for years.

Various “party animals” populate the militant Feminist lobbies. These are high society females who need attention and publicity. They also need free foreign trips. Their funds/charities run to crores of rupees. With that money from vested interests, they are working towards sweeping modifications in legal procedures in India, which if implemented will simply ruin lives of men (also women!!) and of course on long run destroy the complete society. Many of these feminazies are females who destroyed their marriages and are just sub-consciously jealous of the good married lives of other women. Many even go to the extent of organizing seminars in schools in big cities and indulge in male-bashing there with statements like “We got out of our marriage, so can you in future.”

Nowadays, it has become a fashion to indulge in “male-bashing”. Recently, Miss World Diana Heyden made a press statement: “Every second Indian male has been leading an adulterous life since time immemorial.” When contacted by press, Hayden forcefully declared, “I completely stand by my own statement; I have spoken the truth. In fact, if you ask an average Indian male (to comment on my observation), he would tend to agree with me.” Imagine, a male Indian actor making similar sexist slur against women and the consequences.

Things already are in a very dismal state for Indian Males. The cruelty/dowry law (called dreaded 498a) is so biased against men that “if you cancel your arranged marriage due to any reason you can be booked for dowry harassment.” The police needs only one line complaint from the women or her parents and they are supposed to act immediately by arresting you and as many of your relatives (of course including your unmarried sisters and grandmothers). The domestic violence bill, if passed in parliament will simply increase the already high male suicide rate at least three folds. This bill just does not recognize that a man can also go through physical or mental cruelty by his wife. Feminists are just seeking the blood of all men. In all these women related cases, a man will be considered guilty till he proves his innocence in court. Certainly, there is no penalty for filing the false cases (if the complainant is a woman). The woman can even get away (without getting convicted of perjury and contempt of court) when it is proved beyond doubt that they lied under oath.

Suicide rates in India:
National Suicide rate is: 11 people per 100,000

For males in the age group of 30 to 44, the Suicide rate is a whopping 508 per 100,000 persons; for women it is 220. The Suicide rates among men in the age group of 45 to 59 is a shocking 1,812 per 100,000 persons and among women, nearly 550. So much more people are dying due to SOWRY harassment than the DOWRY harassment.
However, among divorced males the suicide rate is 164 per 100,000 persons, but even in this class, among females the rate is only 63 per 100,000. While the suicide rate for separated men is about 167, for females it is only 41 per 100,000 persons.

AF, without knowing ABCD of dowry or 498a problem,do not write anything.

Misuse of 498a is serious issue and many men suffer from this. Even in Love marriage they applies. any women(indian) can go to police and lodge false complaint and police will take action without any enquiry. and its non compoundable and non bailable too.

What a mess up!

Why can't we have laws to protect inoccent Indian men and women (especially) from being FORCED into arranged marriages without them wanting to committ to such a marriages? Isn't this a form of harressment? Anyway why go all the way to India to get married when there a plenty of nice young men and women in the West?

So much heartache in these arranged, forced marriages, and what DO Western born and bred Indian youngsters have with their counterparts from India anyway? Not a lot.

IF MISA/TADA CAN BE REPEALED THEN SEC 498A OF IPC SHOULD BE REPEALED OR IT SHOULD HAVE 498B FAVOURING MEN OR IT SHOULD BE REPLACED BY THE WORD SPOUSE.

The law was made to help the victims of dowry but unfortunately 498A and 406 has become a weapon for evil minded women who could not adjust themselves with their husband. The law has done a grave injustice by providing non-bailable and non-compoundable provisions. The whole of family is put behind bars only on the complaint of the woman. No medical is done prior to making the complaint as the allegations would be proved false. Moreover, complainants insist on getting dates to prolong the criminal proceedings. Again, the complainant can file the case anywhere they like (out of the area where the incident happen) to avoid the final outcome of the case and demand huge amount of money. My advise to such women is that they would rather sit on Kothas(brothels) if they want to earn money by being get laid.

Even After Divorce or marriage disloved these section will work,unless untill dropped/withdrown/proved.

only you can do is ask her prove her complaint.and if proven u r sentenced/punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years and shall also be liable to fine.
